CONTENTS

1) GENERAL ITALIAN

Language.it courses cover all levels, from beginner to proficient. Our programmes have been created to meet the standards of the Council of Europe Levels. There are 6 levels:
A1 beginner
A2 elementary
B1 intermediate
B2 upper-intermediate
C1 advanced
C2 proficient

2) SPECIAL COURSES

• ITALIAN FOR FASHION
• ITALIAN FOR DESIGN (INTERIOR, INDUSTRIAL, JEWELLERY)
• ITALIAN FOR OPERA SINGERS
• ITALIAN FOR FINE ARTS
• ITALIAN FOR CULINARY ARTS
To attend this kind of course a knowledge of general Italian is required. This kind of course is specifically designed for people who are studying in Italy.
Language.it has developed an exclusive three-level language programme:
L1 open to A2 level students, covered by a 16-hour group course
L 2 open to B1 level students, covered by a 32-hour group course
L 3 open to B2 level students, covered by a 48-hour group course
This programme has been specifically designed for students that are going to attend graduate and post-graduate Academic Programmes.
It is also suitable for people who are already working in Italy or intend to work here in the previous mentioned fields.

• ITALIAN CULTURE
Open to B1 level students or more advanced, this course provides a chance to improve language skills through learning materials that offer an overview upon Italian culture: history, geography, politics, cinema, theater, music, art, literature, sports, Italian cuisine, society.

• BUSINESS ITALIAN
Open to B1 level students or more advanced. These courses develope language skills you need for business: negotiating, writing letters and e-mails, speaking in meetings and presentations.

• WRITING
All levels. Students interested in writing can develope this ability often neglected in general language courses through a rich variety of activities specifically designed that combine fun and practical usage.

• SPOKEN ITALIAN
Open to B1 level students or more advanced. Our exclusive programme enables the students to catch the authentic taste of everyday Italian and to discover connections between language and culture.

• TECHNIQUES OF READING
All levels. Suitable to students who need to improve this ability for academic or professional purposes.

• ITALIAN FOR CHILDREN
Tutoring for children who attend or are going to attend Italian schools.

• PREPARATION FOR ITALIAN LANGUAGE CERTIFICATIONS: CILS, issued by the University of Siena and CELI, issued by the University of Perugia.

TYPES OF COURSES

GROUP COURSES

From 4 to 8 students. A small group ensures that required attention and an engaging atmosphere are provided. Lessons offered: from Monday to Friday

Non intensive courses
One lesson per week (morning, afternoon or evening) levels B1, B2, C1, C2
Two lessons per week (morning, afternoon or evening) Levels B1, B2, C1, C2
Three lessons per week (morning, afternoon, evening) all levels

Semi-intensive courses
Four lessons per week (morning, afternoon, evening) all levels

Intensive courses
Five lessons per week (morning, afternoon, evening) all levels
Ten lessons per week (morning, afternoon) all levels

Lesson module is 90 minutes (2 hours) however, on request, it is possible to arrange lessons of 135 minutes (3 hours).
Timetable is defined by the school one week before the start date.
Location: our school.
Language.it reserves the right to postpone or cancel any group course if one week before the start date the minimum number of students per group (4) is not reached. In case of cancellation the school reserves the right to offer an alternative course of equal value.

MINIGROUP COURSES

These courses are designed for small groups of students (2 to 3) who already know each other and share interests and needs. For students who want to attend or are attending a specific school, customized materials might be used.
Schedules and timetables are made weekly. A lesson can be changed or cancelled by calling the school at least the previous day, by 6:30 p.m.
Lesson module recommended: 100 minutes (2 hours)
Location: lessons can be conducted at domiciles/home. An extra fee is charged dependig on the distance from the school.

INDIVIDUAL COURSES

These courses are tailored to individual students. Individual courses are ideal for those who have little time for learning Italian and/or specific learning needs: businessmen, managers, technicians and others who need to use Italian for work or studies. Customized materials might be used.
Schedules and timetables are made weekly. A lesson can be changed or cancelled by calling the school at least the previous day, by 6:30 p.m.
Lesson module recommended: 100 minutes (2 hours)
Location: lessons can be conducted at domiciles/home. An extra fee is charged dependig on the distance from the school.

INTENSIVE ONE TO ONE PROGRAMS

FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE IN ITALY ON HOLIDAY OR  HAVE FEW TIME TO STUDY AND WANT A FULL IMMERSION COURSE OF ITALIAN

OPTION A) 3 DAYS FULL ITALIAN  (FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY)

 OPTION B)  5 DAYS FULL ITALIAN (FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY)
